Pierre G. Labrecque is a Board Certified Dermatologist. As a board certified Dermalologist and Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Pierre Labrecque is a visionary in his practice…establishing one of the first laser centers and medical spa on the Central Coast. He successfully merges the science of medicine, beauty, nature, and art in a 5,000 square foot medical spa environment called DermaSpaMED. This state of the art medical spa is dedicated to prevention, wellness, aesthetics, cosmetic surgery and laser medicine.

The new facility is centrally located in Santa Maria to provide easy access from clients north and south. Guided by Dr. Labrecque, the medical team at DermaSpaMED offers comprehensive programs tailored to each individual client. Specializing in dermatology, cosmetic surgery and medical spa services, DermaSpaMED provides full face resurfacing, face and neck lifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, body sculping, Botox, Juvéderm, Radiesse, Restylane, laser hair removal, facials, massages, and a host of other specialized services.

Skin cancer detection and treatment is a particular expertise that Dr. Labrecque brings to the practice, having served a residency at the famed Mayo Clinic. Douglas J. Mackenzie is a board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Douglas J. Mackenzie, M.D., F.A.C.S., joined DermaSpaMED in December 2006, as a plastic reconstructive surgeon, who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body. After earning his medial degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1989, Dr. Mackenzie completed General Surgery residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He then received excellent hands on residency training as a plastic surgeon at the New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Mackenzie is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is extensively trained in a full range of cosmetic procedures, from breast augmentation to abdominoplasty, and he is known for beautiful, nature results. Dr. Mackenzie can make your cosmetic dreams a reality.
